About SleepWell Kids
SleepWell Kids started the way most parenting projects do: at 3 AM, holding a baby who would not sleep, scrolling through advice that all contradicted itself.
I'm a software developer and a dad. When my own kids were waking five times a night, I found that real help came in two flavors: $300-500 sleep consultants we couldn't justify, or free generic articles that never quite fit our child. The actual knowledge — age-appropriate wake windows, consistent routines, gentle and gradual methods — isn't secret. It's just never applied to your child, your schedule, your night.
So I built the tool I wished existed: a short quiz about your child's age, habits, and biggest struggle, turned into a day-by-day 14-day plan — with the boring-but-critical parts (schedule math, routine design, what to do when a nap implodes) handled automatically.
What we believe
- Gentle first. No cry-it-out. Plans use gradual, comfort-based methods: routine design, age-appropriate schedules, gradual retreat, and responsive check-ins.
- Evidence-informed. Sleep ranges and safe-sleep guidance follow widely accepted pediatric recommendations (AAP/AASM sleep-duration guidance and the safe-sleep ABCs: alone, on the back, in a bare crib).
- Affordable. The quiz and a full 14-day general plan are free. The AI-personalized Pro plan is a one-time $19 — not a subscription.
- Honest limits. We provide behavioral guidance for healthy children, not medical advice. Snoring, breathing pauses, reflux, or anything health-related belongs with your pediatrician.
The tools are free
The same schedule engine that powers paid plans also runs our free tools — no email required: the wake windows calculator, the bedtime calculator, and wake windows guides for every age. If they help your family, that's the point.
